እንኳን ደህና መጡwelcome to our home in Bahir Dar

Everyone counts. Everyone matters.

We're a day therapy centre for children with profound disabilities. Every morning our buses bring them in for therapy, food, care and a lot of love, and every afternoon we take them home.

A full day of therapy, built around each child

Our children are aged 3 to 18. All of them are non-verbal and unable to walk. Our staff set each one their own goals and work toward them in every session.

A note from Mena

I came to Bahir Dar in 2013 and fell in love with children who had been hidden away. I promised their families I would come back and help.

We started with six children in a little rented house. Look at us now.

It's not a disability,
it's a different ability.

Disability is nobody's fault, and it's never a punishment. Every child here can do something wonderful. We start there.
